Jive Club in The Assembly Room

On Wednesdays 7pm-9:30pm

Starting from Wednesday 31st March, we will be hosting Shaftesbury Jive Club. The easiest style of dance to learn, beginners welcome. No need to book, just turn up    £7.50 per class

Traditional Music in The Courtyard

First Sunday of every month 3-6pm in The Courtyard

Starting from Sunday 3rd April, we will be hosting Traditional Acoustic Music Sessions – In the Courtyard, All welcome to join in and enjoy   FREE

The Real Cure and Swig Tasting Evening

Tuesday 14th June 7:30 – 9:30pm in The Assembly Room

Join our tasting of The Real Cure Dorset cured meats with wine pairings from Swig.

Includes a menu of 4 plate-taster dishes, Swig wines and talks from these amazing producers.

Shaftesbury Fringe is back from the 22nd to 24th July 2022! They’ll have music, comedy, dance, theatre and everything in between! And our venues range from historic churches to cosy cafes and hairdressing salons to a dentist’s surgery!


An Evening with Shaun Bracey

Saturday 6th June 6pm – 9:30pm in The Assembly Room

International award-winning composer Shaun Bracey presents an evening of musical ‘gold’.

Drawing on 40 years’ experience, the concert will feature original music for solo piano, cello and voice including the World Premiere of his new work, based on Shaftesbury’s Gold Hill.

Tickets available at reception – £40 including a 2 course dinner.
